Plan your day
You can customise and download free .pdfs (either simple or decorated), and design your own daily or weekly schedule.
Include tasks like these:
1) Getting dressed (wearing clean clothes every day can make a real difference to your state of mind)
2) Meditation or mindfulness
(you can use an app, if that helps), or
a: notice your breath
b: notice you're distracted
c: notice your breath
d: repeat
3) Chores (make your bed, wipe down the kitchen table)
4) Intentional connecting (phone calls, personal emails, focused time with pets/family, ongoing therapy with a trained professional)
5) Getting outside (be in the fresh air, even if only for 10 minutes)
6) Exercise (there are loads of online exercise groups and videos that can be intensely physical, or try 5 minutes of low impact fun)
7) Eating, and drinking water.
Give to others
1) Join the Kindness Pandemic Facebook group, which encourages and shares stories of kindness.
2) Volunteer in COVID-appropriate ways to help people who are really struggling.
3) Donate, if you can, to a charity that lines up with your values.
