I am specially trained to work with people experiencing psychological distress, and have personal experience, interest and skill in working with people who are having a difficult relationship with their body.

What do I need to bring to my first session?

- Willingness to be in the room
NB: Details required for rebates and funding are collected prior to the session by my admin team
What will the first session be like?
- You will do most of the talking
- You won't have to lie on a couch, or talk about your childhood (unless you want to)
- By the end of the session you'll know what you want to get out of our time together, and one small change to try before next time.
How confidential is my information?
All psychologists are required to disclose relevant information if there is an immediate and specified risk of harm to an identifiable person or persons that can be averted only by disclosing information, or if their records are subpoenaed by a court of law. Otherwise, everything stays between you and me.
How accessible is the building?
There are two ACROD bays available, ramps to my room from the rear entry of the building, and an accessible toilet. Doorways easily accommodate standard wheelchairs and therapy chairs are lift/recliners to support a variety of body positions. To see images of the building, go here.
