Telehealth sessions are rebatable for people who choose to isolate during the coronavirus pandemic.
You can also get Medicare-subsidised telehealth sessions if you
1) Have a GP referral, AND 2) Live in a rural or remote geographical region (Modified Monash Model regions 4-7)*, AND 3) Are at least 15km by road from the treating professional, AND 4) Are not in hospital, AND 5) Maintain an audio and visual link throughout the session. |
Zoom is a securely encrypted platform for audiovisual meetings that can be used from any device. I'll send you a link, you click on it, let it use your camera and microphone, and we're good to go.
You can download the software or the app, but you don't have to. Please note it is your responsibility to ensure security and privacy on your end. |
